Afterwards, take a leisurely walk along Bekal Beach, situated right next to the fort — a perfect spot for capturing sunset photos and unwinding. If there is enough time, optional excursions to Chandragiri Fort or the Ananthapura Lake Temple may be included. Stay overnight at a hotel in Bekal.

Afterward, discover the tranquil Valiyaparamba Backwaters, where a short boat trip lets you immerse yourself in the lively aquatic ecosystem of Kerala. In the afternoon, explore Nileshwar Palace to understand the regal past of this region, followed by a visit to Hosdurg Fort, a quiet, less-crowded site surrounded by coconut groves. Return to your hotel by evening. You can enjoy a beach stroll or unwind with hotel amenities. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  Savor your last breakfast in Bekal prior to checking out. Based on your train schedule, you might have the opportunity for a brief visit to a local market or beach.
